Yohannes Yadagne

Background: Yohannes is passionate about adding value to people and providing tools to develop mind-set so humans can grow themselves and lead others. Yohannes was born in Ethiopia and later immigrated to Canada; he has served as a catalyst to help organizations create sustainable solutions for leadership development that are inclusive, accessible, and affordable. He was on the senior leadership team and was the East Africa Markets Director at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in Ethiopia- a leadership training and research organization- before becoming the Middle-East and Africa Regional Director for GO Innovation. Educational Background and Experience: Yohannes completed a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Psychology. He obtained his National B coaching license and began his own football academy in Canada and has done a host of leadership training and coaching for the Ethiopian Olympic Football Team and the Ethiopian Football Federation among others. Furthermore, Yohannes is certified by CCL’s Leadership Beyond Boundaries initiative for the facilitation of Leadership Essentials, Facilitation Essentials, Coaching Essentials and is a certified Master Trainer for CCL’s Lead for Success program. As a coach and facilitator, Yohannes is also the only Ethiopian certified as Life Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Facilitator by John Maxwell (IMC), and has been a key note speaker in a variety of venues in North America.Yohannes currently provides extensive leadership training for private companies, for large NGOs (including World Vision International, Catholic Relief Services Ethiopia and Uganda, CARE Ethiopia) and at the inter-governmental level for embassies, Forum of Federation (federalism and good governance), and the Program for Young African Politicians (PYPA: in Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda).
